Garmin Connect Modern Issues, Errors, and Failures

Appears that Garmin is trying to make improvements to Connect and device connectivity. However, they have stepped backwards to the point that they have released something that does not function correctly and wasting consumers time. Have switched back to the original connect, as the modern connect links fails or errs to the point that is is not usable or does not provide the recorded data or connectivity that we use to experience and expect. Now the Original Connect does not show charts of the data recorded and uploaded. Do not feel this is even a Beta release it is so bad. Anyone have any thoughts or experiencing the same problems?

    Yes, I have. Modern is unusable for me and, I too, have switched back to Classic.

    On the sidebar click on the head/shoulders then click on "Switch Temporarily to Classic". Or, in my case, permanently.

    On boy what a dogs dinner that roll out is, Chrome does not function and safari jugs shows a blank screen, IE is not much better.

    Not sure what Garmin are trying to do but this is a massive step backwards, also gone permanently back to classic setting

    My side bar head/shoulders doesn't even work! I have the 4 icons all useless and don't work so I can't click on it to switch back to classic. I'm screwed

    I hate your software

    When I bought my Garmin I used it with the software that was available then, two years ago, and it was great. NOw we're somewhere in the cloud.
  • I'm getting fedup with the new Garmin connect

    Tried uploading my forerunner 305. Got a message that Garmin could not find an ANT stick. What the heck is an ant stick? In order to upload my activities I must go back to the old and use the upload button. This new thing is terrible and useless to me.

    This is the behavior that you'll see if you have an extension that is blocking content on garmin.com. Try disabling your browser plugins/extensions and then loading the page. In my case the solution was to add garmin.com to the site whitelist in the Ghostery configuration.
