Garmin Fit connecting HRM to iPhone 5

How do I connect my iPhone 5 to my HRM so I can use the Garmin Fit app?

You don't really say what you are trying to do - do you have a Garmin HRM and a Garmin device to go with it - the only way a Garmin HRM will talk direct to your Iphone is if you have an ANT adaptor on the IPHONE
