Data not uploading to Garmin Connect

Hi

My data is not uploading to Garmin Connect despite message status by Ant Agent saying Transfer was successful. The data has transferred to Training Center as part of the Ant Agent transfer.

I have tried uploading from Garmin Connect which finds the new activity but the 'uploading' circle keeps going around without uploading. I have also tried downloading the file from Training Center and uploading manually into Garmin Connect but again circle keeps going around without uploading.

Anyone else experiencing problems today or have any suggestions? I have checked all software is up to date.

    same problem here..everything looks normal when I transfer...but when I log in to connect and see the dashboard, there is nothing....HELP!

  • I too am having the same problem.... This seems to be falling on deaf ears! Come on Garmin!! We pay a lot to utilize your products. Please help us out!

    Garmin Fenix with FW 4.5
    Garmin Express 3.2.7.0
    Windows 8 64 bit
    Google Chrome Browser 35.0.1916.153 m
    Yesterday, uploaded a bike ride and I believe the FW also upgraded.
    Today, tried to upload a run and after I click Sync Now, it just sits and spins.
    Tried rebooting watch and comptuer -> Nothing
    Tried getting to the files thru computer explorer and I had no issues getting to the files. Made a back up of the .fit files on my desktop.
    Tried a hard reset of the device... Made a quick two minute file -> Nothing
    Tried removing the device from Garmin Express (Garmin Connect) -> Nothing
    Trying to figure out how to upload the file manually with the new softer... Never did find where I could do that.

    What should we try next? ~frustrated~

    I agree, I am having the same problem able to upload and showing successful uploads......

    My error shows that the Garmin Connect Site Is down..Come on Garmin do you have a fix???

    Here is the error...

    Segments are back up and running, although we are still making improvements. It may take a few days to process the segments you crossed or created.
  • Update for those of you having similar issues where it says that the upload was successful but you don't see anything on Garmin Connect. I think the issue is with Garmin Express. I went and reinstalled the Garmin ANT Agent and quit out of Garmin Express and the upload went fine.

    I just completely deleted Garmin Express from my MAC (as well as as ANT Agent) to have a fresh slate to start with. I then went online and reinstalled Garmin Express ONLY. After the reinstall I connected my Forerunner 910XT and my wife's Forerunner 610 and both successfully uploaded their activities to Garmin Connect! I then did a quick two second activity on my watch and synced again using Garmin Express and that new activity upload also worked.

    I recommend just deleting and reinstalling Garmin Express and removing Garmin ANT Agent from your computer all together. Note - When I reinstalled Garmin Express, all of my devices were still athere so I did not need to re-pair everything. During the first sync with the new install, both watches did one large initial data dump of previous activities that were already stored on the watches even if they had synced previously. (It did not create duplicates on Garmin Connect)

    Hi all,

    I own a Forerunner 910XT and since day 1 I am having difficulties uploading. I have never been able to upload to Strava, as it shows 2mo.old runs/rides. Once it started uploading a loop of empty runs and rides and not the ones done for real.
    At the moment I am having a new issue, which I have given up on to solve by myself (for that reason I came here). I cannot seem to upload 1 specific ride. I have tried all possible solutions - adding a 10sec.ride, installing/reinstalling everything, but nothing seems to work. The sync does show that it's syncing that ride, but it just does not show up. I am sure of that because sometimes it says 1 item to sync and when I make an empty ride it says 2, however only one is uploaded and it's the empty one.
    The activity does to exist as I can see all the data and route on the watch. Is there some kind of way of extracting a file manually?
    Any thoughts will be appreciated.

    I am having a similar problem with my 210, running Safari, BUT the manual upload is (still) working, but is a PITA. Like you, tried reinstalling. Haven't tried resetting the 210 as that doesn't seem to be where the problem is.
