Data not uploading to Garmin Connect

Hi

My data is not uploading to Garmin Connect despite message status by Ant Agent saying Transfer was successful. The data has transferred to Training Center as part of the Ant Agent transfer.

I have tried uploading from Garmin Connect which finds the new activity but the 'uploading' circle keeps going around without uploading. I have also tried downloading the file from Training Center and uploading manually into Garmin Connect but again circle keeps going around without uploading.

Anyone else experiencing problems today or have any suggestions? I have checked all software is up to date.

  • Garmin 620, tried with Express and manually uploading FIT file via Classic and Modern interface, no luck.
    In last 3 days had 3 workouts,
    day before yesterday failed to upload (and still failing),
    yesterdays workout was uploaded just fine,
    and today again it's not working.

    Express finds 2 unsynced workouts but cannot upload.

    This is unacceptable.

    Data IS uploading, but it's not showing up on Garmin Connect. I have my dailymile linked to my Garmin Connect account, and when I synced it, tonight's run from my Forerunner 405CX appeared in dailymile. So the problem isn't in uploading data - it's in the fact that Garmin Connect isn't displaying new activities.

    I'm getting the same problems - difficulty uploading (FR610), and those runs that do upload have significant elevation data errors (see other thread). However, all are fine in Strava, with no problems uploading...

    Have emailed Garmin support, but as yet no response.

    So, I'm not going crazy..

    Forerunner 210, decided out of the blue not to upload using Garmin Connect - just hanging with a continuously cycling "uploading" message on the Connect upload window. Using Safari on a Mac, as per usual for the past several years.

    Tried Firefox - still hangs
    Tried Windows laptop on Firefox - still hangs
    Tried updating Communicator plugin and retry - still hangs
    Copied .fit file to desktop and did manual upload - still hangs
    Tried repairing .fit file and did manual upload - still hangs
    Did Master reset of FR 210 and copied file back onto FR from desktop - still hangs
    Changed timezones from Sydney to several others and repeated the steps above - still hangs
    Created a Strava account and imported from FR210 on THE VERY FIRST ATTEMPT

    What the??????

    I think I've pretty much ruled out everything except Garmin's end of things, don't you?

    I'm also on a 310XT, my workouts upload but I'm missing data on elevation gain/loss.

    since the form at https://support.garmin.com/support/searchSupport/escalateForm.htm# only gave me an error message "Beim Senden der Email ist ein Problem aufgetreten. Bitte versuchen Sie es später erneut." i'll post it here.. since it seems it's the same probleme everyone here is having.. garmin ANT agent on mac simply looks like it would upload my activities, and even gives a "transfer was successful" message, but nothing get's uploaded to garmin connect.

    on garmin connect when uploading activites (Upload -> From Forerunner 405 -> select activities) it shows my three latest activites as not beeing uploaded.. and i can select them to be uploaded.. but they keep the status "Uploading..."



    I have used the chrome developer tools to see what gets transmitted to the garmin connect servers. This is the response the activity upload receives from the server:

    as you can see there is some failure "An unexpected error occurred while processing the file.." but the UI does not give any indication whatsoever.. and no hint on how to fix the problem.

    any more information i can provide?
