As I referenced in a thread about the older version of Garmin Connect it appears that Cycling Specific routing still isn't available on the updated version either?
It still appears to share routing with runners when 'creating' a course, so will often navigate the wrong way around a roundabout, the wrong way down a one way street and will not allow you to plot a route along the side of a dual carriageway on a listed known cycle route. For sure I could use the likes of Mapmyride to create a course I actually want, then manually upload it into the 810, but one reason I didn't buy the 800 was because when on a two week tour I wanted the entire holiday backed up on my smart phone, that I could then re sync to the Garmin unit if needed. Uploading the course from Mapmyride into GC instead of uploading via the 'f' drive first will often not replicate the course as planned.
