The classic Garmin Connect allowed one to search for certain text strings. I used it to track my shoe mileage as I would manually enter an activity and call it "shoes". And, then could search to find that entry and then generate a report of total miles from the date the shoes were bought until present.
I cannot find this same functionality in the new Garmin Connect. I may be overlooking it. Would not be the first time I have missed something...
