Save items in Connect Modern as a tab

It would be nice if you could save an item in full page as an entire tab. I use the calendar a lot and it would be nice it was just a tabbed page and I didn't have to go click on the calendar box to open it up. If there was a option to save any item in the full page mode to a tab.
