Even with Modern, can't send a workout to a device

Using the latest Firefox on OSX or Safari, I can send a Course to a device, but when I click the "Send to device" button in Workouts *nothing* happens. This was the case in Classic, too. WHAT THE HECK??? Getting more than a little frustrated, since all connectivity between the mobile app and the fenix2 is also busted right now. There seems to be no way to create a new workout and send it to the fenix2. *sigh*

Yes, Garmin Express is running and the latest, but I swear it's not Garmin Express because I *should* get a pop-up window in the browser first asking me which device I want to send to. I do with Courses, but not with Workouts.

I'm getting to the next stage - Connect Modern will open the pop up, but say's 'Can not detect device'. Garmin Express is running and says the Fenix 2 is there...

...but is it connected to your Garmin Connect account? Click on Devices and check. If it is, it may well be worth removing your device from GE and GC and then re-adding it.
  • If you have Garmin Training Center, PC program now unsupported by Garmin, you can indeed create and upload workouts to Fenix 2. Of course you need to connect Fenix 2 to your pc via usb charge/sync cable and have Garmin Express installed on your computer ; )
  • I was able to transfer my workout calendar and individual workouts from the modern Garmin Connect to my 910XT after updating Garmin Express to version 3.1.9.0. This did not appear to work with prior versions of the software.
