Anyone know why the new garmin connect dashboard thing doesn't fit on an ipad screen anymore. About 6mm on the right hand side is not visible. New dashbaord also seems pretty slow vs. traditional.
Just switched to the new garmin connect website. For surfing I use an iPad with IOS7 with both Safari and Chrome. The new website is so far a big disappointment. Configuring dashboards does not work on any iPad browser, and if I configure a dashboard on my laptop, it does not display properly in the iPad browser. A huge amount of people surf the net using iPads, not laptops, and to build a website in 2014 that has such limitations on an iPad is pretty amazing. The garmin connect app for IOS is sort of ok on an iPhone, but certainly not on an iPad. Sure you can do much better Garmin! Ben
Yeah, +1 to this. It's hard to believe they didn't make the new Connect app universal so that it can be one download for both phone and ipad, with a UI design specific for each. Failing that, the website should be great on a tablet, but isn't.
I agree, I tried to use the new dashboard with the iPad mini running 7.1 and it appears to be full of bugs. Cannot add items to the dashboard, says you have no dashboard, and yet I have two! Scrolling in the menus works sometimes but also moves the background. Lots of silly errors that should have been sorted before exposing it to the Garmin community. Quite disappointed and going back to the old dashboard for as long as I can!
