Presumably there is an easy option to go back to classic view?? The modern stuff is total rubbish
All indications are that classic is no more. Modern came out about 2 years ago, and it sounds like Garmin finally retired classic. (They've had to support both all this time)
The thing is, the features of classic worked and to the best of my knowledge there haven't been any updates to it lately. Modern was never finished properly, many features are broken or just plain missing.
So why is classic gone now? Was doing no work on it just too much? Do they need to have more staff and thought 'lets push everyone onto modern so we can hire more support staff'?
