Where is the Upload button in new connect.garmin? & Communicator vs Express?

Accessing the new front end, all looks well, if a bit "app-y" for a full screen. Where is the "Upload" button?

Also, Garmin Express seems to do a lot that Communicator did, are they different ways of doing the same thing, complimentary, the old & the new?

thanks
  • I'm having the same issue with my Fenix... how do I upload my activities now with the new website format? Please help, thanks!
  • http://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities, click on Import. It's completely manual now, no more Communicator Plugin. You have to navigate to the file you want to upload, select it, and upload it.

You need to download Garmin Express and then connect your Edge or similar and it will automatically prompt you for a 'sync'. After the sync you can view your activity at Garmin Connect.

I just bought and connected my vivofit last week. During set up the only option was to upload the connect express app. When I sync my vivofit it does automatically upload my steps, sleep and calories, but I don't seem to be able to do a lot of things other users have mentioned using connect for. I can't upload activities, I don't see any controls to let my connections see my activities or even my steps. Is there some other way to manually upload data other than the sync?
  • Same problems here, this new website is the worst I have ever used.

    In the "Activities" widget:
    - Go to Full Page —> Import

How about a big button that says "UPLOAD" like there used to be?
