My wife and I both have Garmin Connect accounts and use separate watches...620 for me and 110 for her. Sometimes for one reason or another, one of us doesn't wear our watch. Is there a way for my workout data to be sent to and applied to her dashboard on her connect account or vice versa?
Sure. Assuming you are using the classic Garmin Connect, you have a few options (you probably have the same options with modern Garmin Connect, but I don't have access so I can't tell you for sure). I think this one is the best because it seems to be the most convenient.
In Garmin Connect, add each other as a Connection (this is similar to a Friend on facebook). Only one of you has to do this step. User A goes to the connection search page and finds User B. Click the +Connect button. At some point User B will need to accept the connection request. Now that you are connected, go to your privacy settings here. Change the Who can see your new activities? option to any option other than Only Me. This will allow others to be able to see your activities. The most restrictive is My Connections. At this point, when User A does an activity, it will appear on the dashboard page for User B (and vice-versa) near the right. If User A wants to use the data from User B's activity, User A clicks the link for the activity there, then clicks Export, chooses to export the data as a tcx file, downloads the file, and then goes to the manual upload page and uploads the file.
If you don't want to make your data visible to your connections, groups, or the world, the process would be similar except User A would export the activity to a tcx file and give it to User B. User B would log in and upload the file.
