Elevation profile woes

Does anyone from Garmin respond or is it a waste of time to post here?

It seems as though there was an issue processing some of your runs. Unfortunately the quickest solution would be to re-upload the affected activities, which should fix the issue.

We've been having this same problem last few days as well. Uploaded a file manually (using another computer) today, and the elevation data was missing. Uploaded the same .fit file to Strava with no problems; elevation data was there. Seems that Garmin has trouble creating the elevation data from the gps fit files. I presume they use NGS data to generate the elevation data. Maybe not accessing the NGS data properly? This problem appears sporadically.

That is not a solution, that is an annoying workaround to a bug. I've had the elevation disappear from existing runs also. Should I just continually re-upload runs when garmin decides to lose the data?

I'm experiencing the same issue. Would appreciate it if we get a real solution for this one.

Ahhhh! i'm having the same problem with my Garmin Fenix. I could never understand why I can't just plug the fenix into Garmin Connect (having to use base camp instead) surely ALL garmin devices should be compatible with Garmin Connect? So… for the last year, I've been manually uploading .GPX files and now it won't work. Works perfectly fine with STRAVA - but not with Garmin Connect. Come on Garmin, this is really disappointing get it fixed. Imagine the world couldn't sync their iPhones with iTunes? I can't sync my Garmin device with Garmin Connect - useless!

Does anyone from garmin ever respond to these forums??
