I received an e-mail asking me to give the new Garmin Connect a try. I followed the instructions and switched from "classic" user to "modern" user to enable me to see the new updates. Well now i can't access anything. It takes me to a blue screen with some icons on the upper left corner that do nothing when i click on them. I can access my old rides, calendar, etc. Any ideas? Has anyone run into this problem?
What browser and operating system are you using? I'm just trying to figure it out myself and for me it seems to basically work with Firefox and Windows7. There are things that don't work or that I don't yet understand. Of course you need to be signed in, and I believe in order to connect to your Garmin device it needs to go through Garmin Express, which is a program that needs to be downloaded, installed, and running to work.
This seems to be a common problem. I usually use Firefox (version 28) and GC Modern does not work, I've read the same reports for people using Chrome. Accessing if with IE 11 works great. Add Garmin to the list of companies that forget people use web browsers other than IE. Face palm.
I tried the new layout. I seem to be able to view my account etc and runs but I have downloaded the new Garmin Express but will not sync to my 610.Ive tried everything it says in the help files to no avail. Works perfectly fine with the old Ant Agent in the classic style. Any help with this would be appreciated.
Using GC it works fine for me. No new uploads (no runs due to achilles tendon problem). Old old runs show, as do those widgets which are shown as implemented. Not all widgets are currently implemented it seems.
