I'm able to edit and delete activities uploaded from Garmin Edge 800 for cycling but does anyone know how to edit or delete golf rounds played and uploaded by Garmin G8 for golf?
Select the round you wish to delete in the 'Scorecards' widget. Wait for it to open. This can take some considerable time.
When you see the full scorecard, there's a tiny waste bin icon top right. Click on it, and confirm. There's a fifty fifty chance it will either hang completely or actually delete the round.
I just wish I could get some information into a "widget" or any other place for that matter. I wrote to Garmin and Oliver in the fitness department replied that golf is working ok. So I tried again without success until I finally changed Connect to the "Classic" mode. After quite a bit of waiting I got a map of the golf course showing my path around it, and the time and distance spent. It even calculated my average speed! Strokes, no, putts, no, but I promise to trot along a little faster next time. And check with my broker to see if I own any Garmin shares.
Yes you can now sometimes manage to delete a round. But heaven help you if all you want to do is correct a mistake on a card, something simple like amending fairways hit or a hole score missed. It's so easy to amend on the S4 as long as that was the last round played but if you remove it from Connect you will never apparently get it back. We really need a function in Connect to allow editing. I've tried everything I know but simply cannot recover or replace a deleted card. BTW the amended card on the device does show in scorecard viewer after re-syncing. Various emails to/from garmin support but they have now stopped replying -- obviously this has them beaten too.
Hey, I wish I was able to wonder about deleting scorecards from Connect. My G6 won't even upload scorecards.... I can see putting stats but that's about it. Tried to raise this issue with Garmin and had no reply. The old beta site for logging all stats was so much better - really annoyed that they removed it.

this seems so simple and so obvious of a need to make this useful. Garmin, please add the ability to edit rounds in Garmin Connect. Also, Garmin S4 tracks fairway misses left and right... but I cannot seem to find that information inside Garmin Connect :confused: :mad:

Hi did u find a solution to viewing fairways missed right or left in tracking? I'm looking at getting a Garmin but it seems silly to add a fw missed right/left input if u can't then see the output/stats later. Any advice on getting a g6 vs 7or8? Main problems, real advantages etc?
Do smart notifications work with android 4.3+? Apparently they do but after reading this post I'd like to check ��
