Can't send route to my device

Off on holiday tomorrow, have grabbed a route from explore, saved it to my routes, edited it re-named & saved it. Plugged in my 800 hit send to device & get "unable to send route to device, try again". I have tried a hundred times on different PC's yesterday & just now. VERY frustrating as this is the key reason for buying a Garmin! Please can someone help today so I can head for Wales with my route saved & ready to enjoy the break & rides. Thanks
