Garmin Connect sign in issue

I recently purchased a Forerunner 220 and set up everything through Garmin express and linked to my Garmin connect account. I no longer have the 220. I deleted the device and un installed Express. Now when I sign in it am taken to the Modern form of Connect. I want it to start up in the classic mode. Is it possible without creating a new account?

I believe that instead of just going to http://connect.garmin.com and letting Garmin Connect decide which version to send you to, you could go directly to http://connect.garmin.com/dashboard. There may be a flag in your account settings (the ones exposed via the Garmin Connect web service, not the ones that appear on Garmin Connect website), but I don't know about that.
