I bought two Monterra GPS units and both get no NOAA reception.
I have a Rino 650 for comparisons. The Rino gets reception loud and clear on channels 3 and 7.
I have followed the instructions and plugged in several headphones for antennas into the Monterra,
but nothing gets any sign of NOAA reception. The FM radio works fine on both units, load and clear.
I have tried both automatic scan and manual setting modes. I have also tried the text message only
modes. The GPS is also active so the SAME encoding should work.
Any suggestions on how to get VHF reception of NOAA stations?
Note: Firmware is 1.19. All updates completed to both Monterras.
