Garmin 500

So far I am not impressed. I went for a 500 because I was told the 800 was not reliable. I created an account and then it says my password is incorrect. I had only just created the account and password. So reluctantly I clicked on forgot, even though I know I had not in the 25 seconds since creating it. I then entered the password they gave me and it did not work either. Well done, I've gone from pleased to get a new device to "chuck it back in the box" within an hour.
There have been lots of problems with Garmin Connect since February. Over this weekend there was some sort of issue where logging in failed. It would prompt you to create a new account even though you already had an account. It sounds like you were affected by this same issue. I'm sure Garmin is sorry that your first experience with their product sucked.
That whole junior member thing is not an indication of your age, it is an indication of how much you have commented on these forums. It is often referred to as your rank. Your rank will change automatically as your post count increases or when you are granted specific rank by an administrator or moderator.
