I have an Oregon 450. I review trip stats after a hike and then turn the unit off. When I get home I upload the track and waypoints to Basecamp. Stats change. For example, yesterday's hike on the unit indicated 13 miles, 2000 foot elevation gain. In Basecamp it says 11 miles, 1700 elevation.
Have ensured that all my software is up to date.
Using Windows 7 on PC.
Any ideas as to why this is happening? Which is correct? It seems like this is a new phenomenon.
