UK/England Formats! They are WRONG!

Please please please give us functionality to use Connect with whatever weight/distance format we choose rather than some pre-defined "UK Metric" which isn't even in line with what we use here in the UK!

Garmin's "UK Metric"
Distance: Miles
Weight: Pounds

Let me define what units I want to use. In the UK we're almost a half way house between metric/imperial with us using miles for distance but kilograms for weight.

Even better, let ME choose the format I want for both metrics.

I'm not hopeful you'll list, the whole Garmin experience seems very focused on the US market rather than anywhere else. Weather for example doesn't work here. Heat maps don't work here etc..

Thanks
  • Agreed they need more options - I would prefer stones and pounds for weight - despite having a science backgound and working in SI system for years I have trouble visualising my height in Metres and my weight in Kilograms or pounds :)

Weather shows up on my garmin connect and seems to be reasonably accurate - do you not get basic temperature, wind rain etc?
  • I would prefer more options for weight too.

Weather works in some places - not where I live (out in the sticks) but I did get weather showing for some recent runs near Edinburgh.

This is exactly what I'm looking to do, hence the bump of an older thread. It is especially annoying since Garmin have made it possible on the Fenix 3, so it's nonsensical that Connect can't let you do the same thing.
  • Agreed but you need to post to feature requests forum - or send as an idea to Garmin directly - this forum is mostly for other users to help with issues
