Creating routes on a tablet

Am currently traveling and need to create a new route to load onto my Edge 810. Problem is that I've only got access to my Google Nexus 7 tablet. It won't allow me to add points on the map to create the route saying click to add first point. Touching the screen doesn't work! Grrrrrr

Anyone know a work around????
Cheers
  • Use a PC. Go to the local public library if you have to. I'm pretty sure you'll have this same problem with any of the websites that support course creation.

  • Not practical most of the time.... like today Sunday morning. Wouldn't have thought that it would have been that hard to get a tablet working
  • Sure, I understand your frustration. The problem is that it is not easy to implement some things for a touch interface. This is just one of those things, and now that you're aware of the limitation, you'll probably plan your courses out in advance when you have access to a desktop computer.

  • You could try ridewithgps and create the route on your tablets web browser save it as a gpx and upload it that way.

There are a few android route creating apps, ive not found one i really like yet though.

Travis - Sorry but i have to disagree something like this would be ideal for a tablet.
