Doubtless going to sound pretty stupid, but I've just bought a GPSMAP78s, read the instructions and can't work out how to enter waypoints unless I'm already standing on them! Not much help if you intend to go sailing! I'd like to enter them as longitude/latitude when on the water, or as British Ordnance Survey Grid references when on the trail.
Can anyone help out? But be careful,it looks like my learning curve may be around the horizontal!
