Cadence disappears in Garmin Connect

I loaded the information from my ride and when I looked back the Cadence chart was blank. I have since looked at other rides I have done, and the same thing has happened to that data. Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?

    Make sure you select Cycling as an activity type and not one of the sub catagories.
  • It worked before when I selected Road Cycling, and has for the past 3 years. Now all of a sudden if loads and you see it, and then when you pull it up again, it disappears. And I looked at some of my old rides, and the cadence is blank there as well.
  • Yes. That is the way it worked. We're assuming that is the way it is intended to work in the future. That is not the way it currently works. It is a known issue. Your options are to wait until the issue is fixed or to change your activity types temporarily (to Cycling or Running) so you can see the cadence data. Neither one is a great solution, but those are the cards.

    Everyone is affected by this problem, and there have been many posts about this in these forums lately. I don't believe that there are any known workarounds other than the options presented above.
