Garmin Connect Segments not as easy as strava?

I was trying to create some segments and i didnt find it to be as easy as it is with strava. Any one out there give it a try, thoughts on the experience? I'm not sure if its just because its new or if it is just poorly developed. I for one like segments though.
So far it appears to be a total joke! The resolution is so poor. I have my Garmin set to sample 1 per second, but the track that comes up when creating segments looks like it samples about once every 5 seconds. Garmin has always made good hardware and horrible software. Now they've said "hey let's make something like Strava, only instead of trying to make it better let's make it way worse." So disappointing, but I should have known.
