Multiple Devices in Garmin Express

I've been trying to get my new Garmin device set-up for over an hour...almost two and I'm losing faith in the brand please help!!!
I have a Garmin Forerunner 610 and was just given a VivoFit for my birthday. I am trying to get my 610 to show up on the Garmin Connect display but cannot seem to figure this out. I can add a new tab in the top corner but cannot get the device to show up...when I go to the newly created tab no device data shows...when I click on Device under the top icon it brings up the Vivo. If I switch to the Classic view only the 610 shows up...I would like to see either device in either view...please help me...what am I doing wrong...it is late here and Im tired so it is probably something easy but my frustration is blocking my neural pathways...any thoughts?

    I have Garmin 610 and Vivofit both configured, so it is possible to make them work!
    In Express, both show and connect and synchronize?
    In Connect, in the new page you added, add a new widget and select 610 as a device. Can you do this?
  • The reason you can only see one device at a time is because the "modern" Connect site is not currently compatible with the Forerunner 610. Also, the vivofit is only compatible with the modern Connect site. Both devices are "in your account," but you won't be able to use the new Dashboards with the Forerunner 610 yet. This is the beginning of a migration process to eventually move over to the new Connect entirely. Since this is not related to Garmin Express, I have moved this thread to the Garmin Connect forum.

    I think this reply is also applicable for the 310 XT? I am experiencing the same problem... thanks in advance for your reply (so I can stop searching for the right way to get both watches (Vivofit and 310 XT) in one accoutn :-)

    Is there something, somewhere that states which devices are currently compatible with Garmin Express AND Modern Connect and also which will be in the future? I would have thought there would be something on our Connect Dashboard? As a family we have two Edge 500s and Forerunner 110 but It seems the Forerunner can sync but the two Edges cannot :(

    Also as a family with one main PC (and therefore one Garmin Express installation) but multiple Garmin Connect accounts, will Garmin Express have the 'intelligence' to upload the relevant persons device to their correct account on Modern Connect or does Express just work with one Garmin account only?
