Can't create custom workouts with modern dashboard (fenix 2 + vivofit)

I have both a vivofit and a fenix 2, so I get the new modern dashboard when I log in to connect. It seems that it doesn't support creating custom workouts. Anyone know when it might?

If you click on the person icon on the left hand bar you will see on the pop out menu that you can revert back to "classic" Connect.

In here you can do all the workouts, courses etc again.

I think these features will come to "modern" connect once it's out of the beta stage.

Hmm odd. When I click on the person icon, all I get is View Profile, Settings, Help, Take a Tour and Sign Out. Didn't see anything about switching to classic.

Nope. Doesn't show up for me. Maybe I have a different version from everyone else? Some kind of test group perhaps?

Have you uploaded at least one activity from the Fenix2 to Garmin Connect? Can you access the classic connect via this?

That works! As does going directly to the old dashboard url.
