Garmin Forerunner 310 XT - trouble uploading data to Endomono

Hi,

I have in the past three years had no trouble uploading my data to both garmin training log and Endomondo. For the past months I have had trouble uploading to Endomondo.

When I connect through the ANT+ I have to go through settings on my watch each time in order to turn on parring mode in "transfer data". When I have transferred data, the parring mode goes automatically back to "Off". So when I want to transfer data to endomondo, I will have to reboot the Garmin Ant Agent and to pare the Garmin Watch once again, and then it starts transfer data to Garmin training log and afterwards turn of paring mode - so it goes into circle. If I keep on trying - up to 15 times I sometime succeed. However this is a pretty time consuming (and annoying) exercise that I would like to avoid.

Any suggestions of what to do?

Best Regards
Lasse
  • Do you have Garmin Express installed? If so, this can be the source of your problems. To put it simply, Garmin Express and the ANT Agent will fight over control of the ANT stick. If you are using a 3rdparty service like Endomondo, you should stick with the ANT Agent and the Communicator Plugin.

If you don't have Garmin Express installed, you might try to unpair your device, close the ANT Agent, rename the device directory, start up the ANT Agent, and then go through the pairing process again. The location of the device directory depends on your platform, and details on where to find it are available here. Note also that you want to rename the device directory, not the History directory inside it.

If anything goes wrong, you can close the ANT Agent, delete the new device directory, and rename the old device directory back to what it was.
