Problems syncing Vivofit

Hi I hope someone can help - I got my new Vivofit on Tuesday. First couple of days it synced fine. Yesterday I downloaded the app onto my phone and it synced fine. At night I linked my new Forerunner 110 to my Garmin Connect account. I now can't sync my Vivofit through my PC or through my smart phone. When I press sync on my Vivofit, the phone shows that it is connected but my new data doesn't show up, and it says that it was last synced yesterday.

Any ideas?

    The same thing is happening to me on both my PC and smartphone. For the first few days it worked and now it does not update. Have you found a fix?

    Yep... my vivofit shows it's syncing, but nothing shows up on the website. Forerunner 610 data shows up just fine. And the vivofit is still a 1 hour behind, with no way to fix it. I think I will simply chuck this thing. It's been nothing but aggravation... even if it has great battery life. Going back to the Fitbit for daily stuff. Too bad, because I like the Forerunner and the Edge and thought Garmin would come up with a good product. And it's nearly impossible to find any help for these issues.

    Same thing happened to me. Husband took the Vivofit device out of the band and made sure the device is correctly seated into the band. There should be no gaps or spaces, make sure it's in there solid. Worked for me.
  • I have a Moto X from Motorola and syncing w/ the Vivofit is hit or miss. Sometimes it goes through the first time I hit "Sync" but that's rare. I usually have to pair it with the phone a few times - it's very frustrating. And since I don't have a PC or Mac (Chromebook rules!) it's my only option. Please help, Garmin. I'm a former Fitbit Flex user and NEVER had a problem with that device.

    Bought mine yesterday. Took a bit to get up, but then it seemed to work fine. This morning it was blank and nothing I did made the display come back. Then mysteriously it just reappeared. I decided to try the sync, and it says it sync'd, but nothing from yesterday shows on my smartphone. I can't decide if I'm missing something, if I need new batteries or should return it to REI. I was so excited to replace my FitBit, now I'm not so sure (especially after reading this forum). Thoughts on what I should do or fixes I haven't found here?

    Had the same problems. ultimately had to pair the device again, and it refreshed it. I am sure there is simpler solution which should either be 1)pressing the refresh icon, with the circle on the smart phone, or 2) long pressing sync on the vivofit.

    overall, i have burnt more calories researching how to make this device work, than actually using to record the calories.

    This is a nightmare to use so far! It's hit or miss with syncing data and it has yet to sync with My Fitness Pal app
  • Cannot sync either on iPad or mac
  • Syncing was working fine today, but as soon as people got home from work, it seems the servers got overloaded again! (probably many folks that had sync problems on Sunday)

    (BTW, "Polar Flow", the Polar equivalent of Garmin Connect has been having the same issues the last couple days)

    Mine won't sync to Mac or iPhone today or most of yesterday.
