Unable to upload *.gpx files

Unable to upload *.gpx files from either the Garmin device (GPSmap62st) or from the computer (files that were exported from the GPSmap62st) to the computer. I am able to load and see the files in Base Camp. I have uploaded such files to Garmin Connect for years?
