Forerunner 410 - activity transfer failing

I have been without a computer for about two months but it has finally been replaced (a MacBook Pro). So it's been a while since I uploaded activities to Garmin Connect from my Forerunner 410. However it doesn't seem to be working, so I wondered if anyone can offer a solution without having to full reset and lose my data?

I paired successfully with the ANT Agent and the transfer begins. In fact the transfer looks like its working properly - it takes quite a few minutes and goes through receiving laps, receiving tracks etc. On the device itself it even says "transfer complete" at the end. But on the ANT Agent I get an error message "Last transfer with device Forerunner 410 was on ... Activity transfer to Garmin Connect failed".

I have repeated the process several times yesterday and today, but always the same error message. I also tried a soft reset but the problem persists. I would be incredibly grateful if anyone can help!

Hi Lizzy,

Did u check Garmin connect to confirm nothing was uploaded?
And did u install Garmin Express? If so, uninstall Garmin Express, since it's not working with the FR 410 yet.

Hi Mario, Yes I checked Garmin Connect and nothing is uploaded. And I haven't installed Garmin Express yet anyway as I saw it isn't compatible with Forerunner 410 yet. I have made some progress though - I have managed to upload my runs successfully with Run Keeper, so at least I have them. Nothing corrupt. It's just a pain they are not in the same place as all my other runs...

Try and find the files in your temp folder on your mac, than manual upload them to Garmin Connect.

Thanks will try that. Any ideas where that will be?! No worries if not, sure I'll find it.
