Ant Agent doesn't recognize Garmin Connect username/password

I have the current version of Ant Agent and Training center. When ant agent is attempting to download workouts from my forerunner 405CX, it asks for a username and password to be able to send it to my Garmin Connect account. I enter the information in and it says it's an incorrect username and password. I've verified I've entered my username in correctly and I've changed my password several times. Can someone help me sync my workouts to Garmin Connect?

    Chris, I have had this problem in the past....have you tried manually uploading data? That was the only way I could sync mine for a long time. Called customer support and was on the phone for three hours with no solution. I don't know why, but all of the sudden it started working again and has been fine. I guess make sure all your software is up to date. Sorry I could not be of more help
  • I just had the same problem on my 410. I called garmin and was on the phone for an hour with no luck. The tech from the help desk even tried his password by connecting to my computer remotely and it failed. Also failed was installing garmin express which gave me a cannot connect to server error message. The tech did not understand this message and told me to try a hard reset on the watch. I really don't want to do that and lose all my settings (pain to set them up again) so I'm hoping for a miracle.

    At the moment I can upload to my computer via the ant agent and then manually upload to garmin connect. It's been like this since Monday 6/30 (today is 7/2).


    Has anyone tried to upload using another computer? I only have one so I wasn't able to.
  • So approx a month later it started working. I didn't change anything. I have no idea what caused the problem nor what fixed it.

    I googled and came up with this forum as search results. I had the same problem.

    Here is how I fixed it:
    1) Remove device from ANT Agent
    2) Re- pair device with ANT Agent
    3) Enter your name and pass, THEN HIT CANCEL. Your upload should start. It seems that the reject form should not come up---that's it. Your password has really been accepted.
