Not seeing Cadence Data on the Graphs
Former Member
Hi, I am not getting cadence data displayed on the graphs on rides but there is cadence data as it come sup on Strava no problem. Any idea what the problem is? It is intermittent, some days it comes up and others it does not. Thanks, David
This is a known issue. The cadence graph will disappear if you set the activity type to one of the activity sub-types like Track Running or Mountain Biking. It will appear if you set the activity type to Running or Cycling.
Thanks for explanation Travis. Is anyone going to fix this as it used to be perfectly fine. I do both types of cycling and log it by cycling type including indoor turbo work. I also have temp data coming up on a degF chart with the degC values! Then you can no longer use the elevation correction function to correct for duff glitches. I am using the G800 and should come up when uploaded as 'disabled', however, it now comes up as enabled but for sure looking at the chart it is typical of a 'disabled' elevation profile. Can't repair the glitches any more ... :-( This all seemed to happen after it was announced 'lookout for the new Garmin Connect'. The old one worked just great. - David
Yeah, I feel your pain. We all use at least a few of these features and they've been broken for about a month now. I'm sure they'll get fixed at some point. Unfortunately, Garmin isn't very good about acknowledging bugs and providing fixes in a timely manner.
