Hi all. Can anyone help me how to find on garmin connect the max grade of an activity I completed through Edge 500. I know that Edge records grades, so somewhere it has to be on garmin connect.
I don't think that it is. The vagaries of altimeter data means that it would only work over a set distance (at least 100m lateral at a guess). The 'max' errors could be huge if you're grinding up at 10km/h. However, yes, it would be a great piece of data.
By the way, do you use veloviewer? Renders 3D pics of your climbs, which is cool.
I think that data is available through satellite. During activity Edge shows variation of grade, so it can calculate max of all recorded values.. Ride with GPS site does that already. I think that Garmin developers can incorporate it
