GPSMAP 62st question

Hello everyone. I just purchased a 62st yesterday and have a question. I use my GPS for canoeing in NC but also for ATVing in WV. A decade ago, I used to have a Sportrack Map GPS that I had uploaded county roads onto. This was very useful in ATVing because the map showed more than just major roads. My question is, will this 62st already show county roads, or will I have to buy software to upload. Also, I wanted to ask what other upgrades do you recommend for improving ATVing and canoeing use of this unit. Thanks in advance.
