Wrong map data

I was just looking back at a duathalon I did at this time last year. It was a run-bike-run kind of deal. GC is displaying the same map data for all 3 activities, even though the distances and courses are different. The data displayed appears to be correct for 1 of them and wrong for the other 2...

I think I can come up with MANY more examples in my history, but I wanted to just focus on one specific one.

What is going on here? Has the GC database been corrupted? Is there hope of recovery?

Weird. The tcx/gpx/json data stored in Garmin Connect doesn't show any position information for any of those activities. It looks like your data may be lost unless you have a backup copy of the .fit file on your computer (you would normally have this if you are still using the same computer).

I have the same problem - a lot of activities showing the same map. As asked: Is there a hope of recovery? BTW I am using the same computer and have no .fit files at all at my computer
