Safari browser on mac and update message

I have safari installed on my Mac. Currently i'm running on Mavericks Os. Since a few days i get a message to update my browser and install chrome, IE or Firefox for better use of the website. Is safari not longer supported on Garmin Connect.?

It seems that Safari 5 and later are still supported. Have a look at the topic What operating systems and browsers does Garmin Connect support? on the help page.
