Sync with Medtronic Devices

I'm a Type 1 diabetic and use a Medtronic insulin pump and a continuous glucose monitor (CGM). The CGM allows me to see real time information on where my blood sugar is and whether it's going up or down, rather than a single data point that you get from using a traditional meter to test your blood. The CGM sends data to my pump and I can pull up a graph on the screen to see what the levels have been over a period of time.

Being active as a Type 1 can be challenging at times due to occasional rapid blood sugar changes due to intense exercise. It would be great to have the ability to show my blood sugar level on my Edge 810 while out riding or even more important, when racing.

Would it be possible to team with Medtronic to make this happen?
  • I agree there should be a way to get the data off the CGM whatever one is used Medtronic, Abbott, or Sensionics, onto at least Garmin Connect and display glucose alongside heart rate and pulse ox.  Real time display on the watch or Edge would be great. Hope this feature comes soon.

    Yeah im type 1 too.

I think currently, the way around it is maybe look see if someone on connect iq app has created maybe a garmin widget for medtronic devices so you can maybe link say the pump to the phone, the phone via bluetooth to the watch etc.

Ps I have no other knowledge of this apologies, but thought id suggest taking a look as im after doing the same thing soon
