I too use a 1450 and "usually" like it a lot. However, it had/has a few odd problems.
If left connected to auto power, 12v, that seems the basis of some of the problems:
* when you next use it, the past routes you have driven (Trip Log - blue lines) will display but the road map will not.
* the route lines will display, the map displays, however, the routes and road logs do not line up as normal.
* the normal "Stop" (where to) icon is gone from the main screen. If you have not arrived to the GO TO, but, wish to Stop the navigation, you cannot stop the routing.
* Known saved Favorites seem to have a drift in their GPS location. A location that has always cancelled the "Where To" when driven too, will not. The location has shifted just enough that it will not auto Stop/cancel. Example:your home driveway or curb in front of your house. I have to manually cancel/Stop navigation using the icon and set the location anew. . .odd
The latest s/w update 6.20, and GPS 4.30, 2013 maps, has solved some of these odd problems. However, I now do not leave the 1450 plugged into the car power while not used. This forces a clean map install when next powered up. A much longer boot time however. . . .Comments. . .???
