I'm guessing that we'll get it when it is ready for us. I've heard that it isn't yet compatible with all devices, so enabling it for some users would just be a huge annoyance.
Currently customers who purchase our vivofit fitness band will get access to the modern version of Garmin Connect. We will roll out modern view to other users soon but this will be a slow rollout over time. You can imagine with the number of users who upload to Garmin Connect we do not want to dump everyone in at once.
I have the new connect website as i purchased a Vivofit. It works great for the Vivofit but is totally useless for my Edge 810, I can't access courses or workouts from the new interface. I swap to the old interface whenever i go onto the connect website now.
I agree with S_Turnock. I still have to use Classic and Modern as the courses is missing.
The new segment section its working yet. There is distance bugs (granted mainly on regarding steps/vivofit. There is still some work to go with modern, its clear that they got it up and running for Vivofit users before added all the stuff the classic GC does.
I heard that Workout creator and transfer were impossible under the new interface and that the groups and calendar are no longer available. Are these features supposed to be back in the new interface later ? Cause that'd be extremely annoying to loose them.
Given that the modern interface has only rolled out to VivoFit users, and that the VivoFit doesn't have support for workouts or a calendar, I wouldn't expect any of the those things to be available in the modern interface. Once they start rolling it out to users that don't own the VivoFit, I'd expect those features to be made available.
