Reporting in metric

I have set my new Garmin Edge 510 to metric measurements. however everything on my dashboard is recorded in Imperial measurements and not metric. How do I set this up so that my reports are in metric.
When signed in to Garmin Connect, click your user name near the top right corner, then click Settings | Display Preferences. Change the value of the Measured Units option to Metric.
