Will not let me send courses to my Garmin Forerunner 620

It says it is course/virtual partner enabled - but when I try to add the course to the connected device an error screen pops up telling me my device does not allow courses. Also says in the instructions it shares to Facebook automatically, I log in with my FB account so they should be connected yet it does not unless I hit the share button, and then you just get the link to the activity not the actual activity. I have to upload my activities to RunKeeper for them to display. Just got this thing a couple days ago so still learning.
I don't know why it says the 620 is course enabled; it isn't. Sorry to give you the bad news there.
It does have the virtual partner, but that doesn't need courses; you just set your desired pace and run. The 610 had a thing called a virtual racer which did use courses, but that hasn't been implemented on the 620 yet (but might possibly be in the future).
OK, thank you for the info. Any tips on the FB issues? Connect doesn't show up in the list of apps under my FB settings on my iphone, and it doesn't even show up in my list of apps under notification center... like it doesn't exist, yet it's right there and functional (mostly).. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling it a few times, updated my FB app, etc..
