I have just purchased an expensive Forerunner 620 and am now getting very frustrated when trying to see my planned workouts in either watch or mobile app, as created in GC calendar. It is rarely that I have the time or possibility to sit down by a PC to make follow-ups and adjustments to my plan. I would like, and actually expect, to be able to:
1) See my workout plan in watch & mobile app (what is created in GC calendar on PC)
2) Make changes in the plan in at least the mobile app (needed all the time due to physical shape status and unexpected events / other calendar constraints)
The pre-filled/off-the-shelf training plans might work for appr. 1-5% of your customers. Either the goal is not compliant with reality or the time available. Apart from that the practical issues with calendar constraints from other areas in your life might make the plan impossible to follow. As I see it, either I have to be able to:
1) Make my own "Training Plan" and transfer it to my watch and mobile app. Make smaller changes to the plan in prefferably the mobile app.
or,
2) Be able to see scheduled workouts in watch & app according to what is planned in the GC calendar. Drag and drop workout planning in GC calendar is what I have done in order for me to have a feasible/realistic training plan that suits me and my goal.
Have I misunderstood something of the usage? If not, are there any plans of updating these features in the near future?
