Average pace faster than average moving pace

Why is my Garmin forerunner 410 recently showing faster average paces than average moving paces for some splits on Garmin connect?? Also why are the splits not showing when I tick the splits box on the map view (they are showing as splits in the lap box, and they have done in the past)?
