Memory full

Hello to everybody,
I had a problem with mi Garmin Forerunner 110.
I'm used to keep the memory of my device clean, downloading periodically the activities in the chronology of Garmin Connect website.
Yesterday, however, it was impossible for me to start the chronometer, because of a message "Memory full"; in the device were stored only two activities. Maybe is there a limit in the amount of data that is possible to archive on Garmin website, and I reached the maximum assigned to me? Is it possible to store in my local hard disk all the trainings, so that I can delete the ones that are online?

Thanks in advance
  • The memory full error should only come up if your device is out of free space. It would have nothing to do with Garmin Connect. I'm fairly certain that you'll find more files on your 110, or that one of those activities is huge.

    Thank you very much Travis!
I have connected the device to my computer and I assured that the Activities folder was empty. However I double-checked the content of the whole Garmin driver and I find out that its size is about 900 kB; in particular I saw a File Image, gmaptz.img, that is 572 kB. Is it imporant or is it only a kind of backup file that I can also delete? Which is the size of the memory of the device, maybe 1 MB? If so, can I delete gmaptz.img, or is there some other file that I have to clear?
