I have st my 605 to pair and it appears to recognise it but no connection feasible to permit a firmware update. Any ideas about next steps I might take please?
Do you use the ANT Agent and Communicator Plugin to send your workout data to 3rdparty sites (like strava, mapmyrun, ...)? Do you use them to send data to your 605 (workouts, courses, ...)? If so, I believe you should uninstall Garmin Express and continue using the ANT Agent and Communicator Plugin.
Otherwise, did you previously have the ANT Agent and Communicator Plugin installed? If so, and you are absolutely sure you want to start using Garmin Express, you should probably uninstall both the ANT Agent and the Communicator Plugin. These products appear to conflict with Garmin Express, and removing them is the simplest solution. Once you've uninstalled, open up Garmin Express and remove the device, and re-pair your device.
Helpful thank you. I think I will wait until Express and Garmin Connect have settled down before I remove ANT agent as I can not reinstall it if I don't get on with Express can I?
