No, at least not at this time. Some services (strava) allow you to specify privacy zones. Perhaps this could be turned into an enhancement request for Garmin Connect.
I agree that this would be a great option. I have no problem with sharing how I am training and welcome any advice, but I'm uneasy with showing the routes I take.

I too need this function. There is a clear distinction between sharing workout data/metrics (from which it is impossible to identify an individual) and sharing location data (from which it would be easily possible to identify an individual if routes were repeated at regular times). I am eager to share data with friends and colleagues, but not where exactly I work out. As a previous poster has mentioned, this is surely a very simple check mark add-in. Thanks.
