Garmin Connect Offline

I wonder how could I use my watches offline (310XT and Swim). Is there any way of doing this? I know there is Garmin Training Centre but it isn't improved anymore and I also have a Garmin Swim which is not supported.

I am not online all the time and I can't understand why garmin doesn't offer an offline updated alternative to garmin connect. There are lots of users who would love to have garmin connect as an addon not as their main software application. I feel cheated. They should advertise in big letters that you can only review, analyze data and so on online.

Garmin is giving the opposite impression to freedom. In a matter of time you'll have to be online to go running, swimming and so on. It's frustrating.
  • If you use a PC, check out SportTracks from zone five software.
Really good piece of software. You'll still need Express or the ANT agent (for now) to sync the 310xt, but you can either read the fit files straight from your hard disc or get ST to sync them back from Connect (I don't have a Swim so can't comment on that).

Thank you. I'll take a look at SportTracks. It's a shame Garmin doesn't provide an offline program to use their products. I can't understand why garmin force us to have our data on the cloud  Too bad.

    What do you think?
