uploading file in .tcx or .gpx format

I was tyring to export my activities from the Garming Training Center software and upload them to Garmin Connect but haven't been able to sucessfully do so. I've tried exporting both as .gpx files and as .tcx files and then upload to Connect via the manual import part of the Garmin connect interface. However, I get "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again" everytime I try. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Do i have to upload only one activity at a time? (I tried this also, but couldn't get it to work.)

Unfortunately, Garmin appears to be having some serious problems uploading gpx files. I can't even upload a gpx file that was originally created on a Garmin device, uploaded to Garmin Connect, and downloaded from Garmin Connect.

I'm getting the same problem. The track loads fine in Basecamp, but I can't upload to Garmin Connect anymore, these are the GPX files generated by my Etrex 20. :(

In response to the request to upload the gpx file giving problems - here it is, but I suspect that any gpx file exported from the current version of Basecamp will have the same issue.

Have not done any uploading for nearly two years so plugged in this morning with just a 20 mile track to download. All that happens is that the uploading icon going round and round and getting nowhere.
Garmin Etrex Vienture CX, never had problems before, i note something has changed with Garmin Connect so would be grateful for assistance.

can't upload any tracks to connect from my dakota 20, manual upload. Please look into this.

Hi,

I downloaded your file cantUpload.gpx and did some tests with it. I could not upload it into Garmin Connect either. But I was able to import it into the Fit File Repair Tool (http://fitfilerepairtool.info) and upload it using the upload function of the Repair Tool. The Fit File Repair Tool uploads activities using the fit file format. So the problem definitely is caused by an issue Garmin is having with gpx files at the moment.

If you would like to have your data as fit file, you can download it from https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/91455145/CantUpload-fixed.fit and try a manual upload to Garmin Connect.

I am also not able to manually upload .gpx & .tcx files to Garmin Connect :confused:

Why can't Garmin pull out their finger and fix it...they charge an earth for their hardware.

Same problem here... trying to upload a small .gpx track file made made with an Etrex 10. I can successfully load it in both BaseCamp and Adze Lite with no problems. Track looks fine. Gotta be something on the Garmin end of things...

I've got the same problem uploading .gpx files manually. I've been doing this for months previously, now it's broke :-(. Please fix!
