unable to upload data from device

Hi
Have been using the 800 for a few months and have had no issues uploading the data manually via the website.
However since mid February the website has been unable to locate the device and therefore unable to upload.:(
Any help in this matter greatly appreciated.
  • Are you using the ANT Agent and Garmin Communicator, or did you install Garmin Express in February? If you've got both installed, you need to be sure that they aren't interfering with each other.

    Hi there,
    I'm having the same problems.
I used to upload from my Forerunner 310 XT without problems using ANT stick and the 'old' software. With Garmin Express I can connect: the computer connects with my device, data is transferred, but I don't see it on my dashboard. Please can anyone give me some advise? Thanks Henk from Holland (excusing fotr my poor English :-))

I am having issues also after having loaded Garmin Express.

Should I uninstall ANT agent and Garmin Communicator?

I'm also having the same issue uploading data from my Forerunner 610 after loading Garmin Express. I am getting a prompt that ANT agent and express are interfering, however I don't know to rectify the problem.
  • I don't know to rectify the problem.

The simple solution is to do one of the following...

    • Uninstall Garmin Express
    • Uninstall ANT Agent and Garmin Communicator Plugin

If you are using a VivoFit (which is only compatible with Garmin Express) and you need to be able to upload data to your 610 (which is only possible with the ANT Agent and Communicator Plugin), then you have to disable one so you can use the other.

Personally, I'd stick with the ANT Agent and Garmin Communicator for the time being. The Garmin Express software is changing a lot, but it doesn't support some of the features that the ANT Agent does. In addition, you don't have to worry so much about things being broken since the older software isn't changing anymore.
